Hi! I'm Orlana, (aka Lu), the founder and maker behind Body by Lu — a labour of love born from a passion for natural skincare and a dream to build something truly my own.

As a young female entrepreneur, I started this journey with a simple mission: to create honest, effective, and nourishing skincare products using only pure, skin-loving ingredients. What began in mum's kitchen with a few natural oils and herbs, to then over taking mum's dining room, quickly grew into a small business fuelled by curiosity, care, and a desire to help others feel confident in their skin — naturally.

Every product is handmade in small batches, with a deep respect for nature and a commitment to quality. I believe skincare should be clean, gentle, and empowering. That’s why you won’t find harsh chemicals or fake promises here — just honest ingredients and real results.

My products are made with natural, organic ingredients that are gentle on your skin and free from harmful chemicals. 

Your skin is the largest organ on your body acting as a barrier to protect you from harmful environmental effects. Modern lifestyles are generally busy and stressful and when you combine this with other effects such as home and office environments (air conditioning/heating), and the outside environments of sun, wind and pollution, your skin takes on the world and is damaged in the process. Your skin is a semi permeable barrier which allows the passage of certain substances both in and out of your body. Personal care products contain substances which can either be absorbed, or to prevent or change excretion from the skin. Awareness of the products you apply to your skin can help prevent harmful ingredients being absorbed into your body which can accumulate in the tissues over time.

I offer a range of products, including soaps, tallow moisturizer, lip balms, and more. My goal is to help you find the perfect products for your skin type without the unnecessary add-ons of harsh chemicals. You can expect to find a variety of benefits from using handmade products, such as better skin, less waste, and more money to spend on other things in life.
